The story so far
Social Work for You is led by Kate Kingsbury, an AASW-registered Social Worker with a credential in School Social Work and more than 17 years of experience across education, health and community services.
Kate specialises in reflective supervision, workforce capability and practice development for social workers, educators and wellbeing professionals.
Her background includes leadership and direct practice experience across schools, hospital social work, family services, parent education and out-of-home care. Kate has also contributed to major reform and workforce initiatives within the education sector, including work relating to student wellbeing, family violence and Respectful Relationships.
Kate is known for her thoughtful, practical and systems-informed approach. She works with professionals and teams who value reflective practice, emotionally intelligent leadership and continuous improvement.
